Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta region has revealed that the Finance Minister and his wife stand to benefit financially, should government proceed with with the construction of the proposed national cathedral.
He made this known through his social media handles, where he revealed that he has received fresh cathedral documents that made these connections known. According to him, Enterprise Insurance, an insurance company that Ken Ofori-Atta is strongly linked to, is in charge of insuring the structure
Ken Ofori Attah’s wife also serves as a director of the Insurance company.
This could explain why the Nana Addo government is so insistent on building the cathedral, despite facing huge opposition and criticism from Ghanaians.

Fresh Cathedral documents in my possession reveal that Enterprise Insurance, a company Ken Ofori-Atta is intimately associated with & where his wife serves as a director was granted a sweetheart deal to insure the entire cathedral construction site. God save the Trade Ministry.
Just yesterday, President Akufo-Addo appointed Ken Ofori-Atta as Caretaker Minister for the Trade and Industry Ministry, following the resignation of Alan Kyerematen.
